The cheongsam, or Qipao, originated from the period of the Republic of China in 1920s and has developed into various styles. Besides the gentle and graceful Su-style, there are the dignified and noble Beijing style, the elegant and glamorous Shanghai style, and the eclectic Cantonese style.

According to Dani Deng, the Event Direct, "The Qipao is a symbol of Chinese beauty. Nowadays, more and more ladies are falling in love with Qipao, and it becomes a global fashion trend. Through this event, we hope to provide a platform for all cheongsam lovers to showcase and exchange their passion."
