Our Approach
Pegasus Publications Inc. is committed to creating niche magazines, as well as build relationships between readers and advertisers. We also combine profitability with integrity. We care about our employees, our readers as well as the businesses we serve.
Our Story
Pegasus Publications is the dream child of Dorothy Dobbie. After her stint as federal MP back in the 90s, she eventually wanted to create something of value to the community. For this reason, Dorothy created the Manitoba Gardener in 1998. Thus, producing the first totally subscription/newsstand-based publication in Manitoba. The company now also produces sister Gardener magazines in Alberta and Ontario.
The employees at Pegasus get involved in other things, too. They launched a Save the Monarch Butterfly campaign and have also helped plant a butterfly garden at Waverly Heights Community Centre. Furthermore, they participated with the Winnipeg Airport Authority in Plant a Row, Grow a Row for Winnipeg Harvest with garden space generously donated by T & T Seeds.
On February 3rd 2016, Pegasus Publications then announced a new partnership with a number of Manitoba’s leading radio, internet, video, printing and marketing operators. As a result, our consortium of professionals are now able to bring a full suite of marketing services to business owners. In so doing allowing them the opportunity to focus on what they do best, running their business.
