The Charleswood 55 Plus Active Living Centre is dedicated to enriching the lives of those 55 plus in the Charleswood and surrounding areas by offering a vast array of programs, fitness classes and special events at affordable prices. Our Mission is to Enhance the Quality of Life for those 55 plus providing the resources that enables and assists them to enjoy a more active, social and creative lifestyle in the community.

HIGH STEPPERS SENIORS CLUB
The High Steppers Seniors Club meet on Wednesdays and Thursdays at Winakwa Community Centre from 10:00 am – 2:30 pm.
We are a seniors social club and play games like Bocce, Shuffleboard, Crib, SkipBo, Dominoes etc.  We start and end our day with coffee and
conversation, then play games, have soup for lunch, have some exercise time, then more games in the afternoon.
We serve seniors in Windsor Park, St. Boniface, Southdale, St. Vital and other areas east of the Red River.
Your first visit is complimentary, come out and give us
a try.
We are having a Pancake Breakfast on January 21st at 15 Leveque St. from 8:00 – 11:00 am.
The High Steppers Seniors Club is located at 980 Winakwa Road in Windsor Park. We meet Wednesdays and Thursdays as a place for elderly seniors to socialize with others over lunch, coffee/tea and good food. We enjoy exercises, cards and games. Having the Seniors with us gives our members’ caregivers at home a few hours for themselves. Come out and join us, your first visit is complimentary.

Our  2017 Roster includes Bridge, Indoor/Outdoor Walking, Creative Writing,  Games, Canasta, Monthly Birthday Lunches and Brunch, Trips to South Beach, Bingo at the Downs, Celebrations Matinees,  Floral Arranging, Health Workshops, Winnipeg Transit’s Peggo workshop,an Applebee’s Fundraising Breakfast, Stonewall Quarry Choristers, A Trolley City Tour, A Walkabout in the Exchange, and a visit to PineRidge Hollow.
