Estate Administration Workshop – For Community Women: Mon, April 30th  2012 7:00-9:00 pm at 1150A Waverley St. A workshop on administering estates – Being appointed as Executor and how to get through it; Having had loved ones pass away without a will and how to get power to administer the deceased’s estate. Space is limited – Pre registration is required by calling 477-1123. This is a women only event. Childcare (upon request), healthy snacks and bus tickets are available. Backyard Composting & Activating Your Commute Workshop: Tues, May 1st 2012 1:00-3:00 pm at 1150A Waverley St. Backyard Composting: We’ll cover the basics – how to start, key factors for successful composting, choosing the right bin and how to use finished compost. Activating your Commute: Do you want more exercise in your day but don’t have the time? Do you want to save gas, money and the environment? Join us to learn to do just that by  re-thinking how you travel from point A to point B. Space is limited  – Pre registration is required by calling 477-1123. This is a women only event – no childcare available. Working in partnership with: The Green Action Centre.

Our Outreach location is accessible for different programs/services: Information and referral, computers, clothing room, coffee. Stop in anytime and stay for as long as you would like! *We will be available to provide information and referrals only.Childcare is available. No registration is required.
